Simply select TAKE A LESSON, then select LESSON HISTORY, next select any LESSON (drill, practice, quiz or game) for any letter or lesson you wish to review. After reading the reviews regarding the “BUG”, I was hesitant but decided to purchase the product based on the positive reviews and the fact that the Mavis Beacon method has been around a very, very long time. The “bug” eventually outsmarted me! 0 stars!OLD REVIEW: I am a beginner adult typist desiring to learn keyboarding using a straight forward, step-by-step approach. UPDATE (06/23/09): I returned this software. Their position on customer support is rediculuous! Wanna see what I mean – Call 1-80, then Press 2, and just listen how many times they tell you to use their website for support. I’m never buying software from any company that doesn’t have, at least, email support. Again, my PC is new (not X64.) The pkg says the software is for XP too. I searched for just ‘data1’ and ‘data1.cab’ errors and found nothing. THEY HAVE NO SOFTWARE SUPPORT to even write to, let along call!!! Per their support site, I tried various run-as modes (as Admin) on my PC I tried various Compatibility Modes I even DISABLED everything (except AV software) at start-up via ‘MSConfig’ utility, where the product installed but I kept getting an error w/either Data1.cab file or video.
I tried EVERYTHING I could per Mavis Beacon’s KB / Support site.
I have XP w/more than the minimum requirements.
