I'm very satisfied with my purchases here, and definitely want to stop by this great little town staple again when I'm in town to get a coat or sheepskin rug that they keep in the back. I also got some mittens and warm wool socks. There's a LOT of different options for gloves. (I must have gone through 2-3 pairs of gloves+liners that did diddly squat prior to shopping here) so if you're sensitive like me and don't have good blood flow to the extremities :) come here. I was in the market for gloves and socks, which I found in excess! I snagged a pair of beautiful rabbit gloves that actually keep my hands nice and warm. There's even a discount room which I made an immediate beeline for, crazy good prices on clothes with minor imperfections surrounded by old, kitschy knick-knacks that were also for sale. (It gets cold there, people!) to name a few. There are TONS of beautiful wool jackets, sweaters, and coats- made locally or imported from Iceland, China. It's cold in Montana, and wool/animal fur is some of the warmest material there is to help you stay insulated and toasty in sub zero temperatures. Why? Presumably, because the merchandise here sells itself. The first thing I noticed was a pretty nonchalant cashier behind the counter. While they don't really need a review from me to help bolster their business, I'm going to write one anyway.

Montana Woolen Shop has been here for over 30 years.
